I've never been one to not share my sources ~ so to all of you who have commented and/or emailed asking where I got my nifty glasses:
The first pair (the larger ones) I picked up at Michael's and I know they carry them at JoAnn's as well. Not entirely sure but I think the magnification is 1.5x. I recall paying about $8 for them.
The second pair I found at Keepsake Quilting. A bit more expensive but they have them in multiple powers up to 5x. Click Here to visit the sale page.

Laura, thank you for sharing these, I have the 1.50 and 2.50 but not quite strong enough, but I also have discovered I can't wear them as they make my eyes go bonkers, lol, don't know quite how to describe it, I guess they irriatate my eyes I guess you could say. I know that probably doesn't make any sense. Great info though, thanks for sharing it.

No ~ it makes perfect sense, Brenda. It's kinda like the experience of switching between glasses and contacts. Someday when you're old enough (like me!) you'll learn you have to put up with that little distraction. ;)
