Works in Progress

Thought I'd share what's on my work table now.  The next two Gentry of Cobblestone Court are well underway. 

You can see the first bear is complete (she's about 12 inches tall) and is ready to be dressed in this collection of fabrics.  I'm envisioning a hat with oodles of satin ribbon roses for her too.

And the other, well, she's cut out and sewn but not quite assembled ~ maybe later today.  This one will be smaller ~ about 6 or 7 inches tall and she'll be pushing this darling little carriage.

Sneak peeks at The Gentry of Cobblestone Court

After many months of planning and designing, I am happy to be launching a new line of Fashion Bears called

The Gentry of Cobblestone Court.

You can look forward to seing many periods of fashion history represented on these 10-14 inch tall bears.

The first, Virginia Hamilton, will be on

eBay starting Sunday May 15th.

 

 

 

She will be followed by Beatrice Davenport

on Wednesday, May 18th.

will be unveiled two weeks from today.

I am very pleased with how they are turning out and am having such fun working on this scale. 

They are larger than anything you've seen from me so far. 

The boxes for these new friends arrived today ~ a whooping 14x7x4 inches! 

You can look forward to a few peeks coming soon. 

But don't worry ~ there will always be new mice too.
